Yogi Adityanath Encourages Youth to Embrace Positive Attitude at Allahabad University Convocation
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently encouraged young people to adopt a positive mindset towards reforms and embrace new knowledge. Speaking at Allahabad University's 136th convocation, he highlighted that each new piece of knowledge is a science in itself. He warned against self-imposed barriers that arise from rejecting new ideas, noting that such resistance can hinder personal and societal progress.

Adityanath criticised those who attempt to divide students based on caste, opinion, or religion, describing them as unjust. He stated that these actions weaken the youth and should not be tolerated. The chief minister stressed that every citizen should dedicate their lives to serving the nation, emphasising the importance of unity among the youth.
Embracing Knowledge and Progress
During the ceremony, Adityanath awarded degrees to graduates after being welcomed by Vice Chancellor Sangeeta Srivastava. He also presented an honorary D.Litt degree to poet Kumar Vishwas. The chief minister underscored the significance of embracing new knowledge, warning that failing to do so could lead to misfortune. He urged everyone to keep pace with time to avoid falling behind.
Adityanath expressed pride in Allahabad University's legacy of producing dynamic youth across various fields. Despite challenges, he remains optimistic about the university regaining its former prestige. He suggested establishing a Youth Parliament in universities instead of traditional student unions. This platform would allow class representatives to elect leaders for future elections, fostering young leadership.
The chief minister noted that the era of demanding personal needs without considering circumstances has ended. Such attitudes will not contribute to national or societal advancement. Adityanath's remarks reflect his vision for a united and progressive society driven by informed and responsible youth.
In conclusion, Adityanath's address at the convocation highlighted the importance of embracing change and knowledge for personal and national growth. His call for unity and dedication among the youth aims to build a stronger future for India.
