Election 2024 Results Memes On X: Social Media Full of BJP's Memes 'Abki Baar 400 Paar'; See Top Viral Posts

As day proceeds, it becomes clearer and clearer that NDA and BJP will not be reaching the number of seats that they expected to win in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. While exit polls predicted a win for BJP by a large majority, the results being displayed on news sites and tv channels show that the fight between NDA and INDIA alliance is a lot closer than expected.

As these results are coming in, so are plenty of memes on social media like X. While some of them are made in plain humour or jest as a means of lightening the mood, some of them were also made with the intention of poking fun at the BJP and the expectations that many held when going into these elections.

One such batch of these memes touches upon the '400 Paar, Modi Sarkaar' slogan of the BJP, where the party had assumed that they would win over 400 seats in the elections. Even many exit polls had predicted as such. Due to these high expectations, many people were disappointed when BJP could only occasionally cross over 300 seats in today's counting, which led to many memes aimed at the overconfidence of a slogan that promised to win over 400 seats.

One of the touchier subjects that the many of the BJP memes touch on is the betrayal they feel from Uttar Pradesh, as currently, according to data from the ECI, the Samajwadi Party is leading in the majority of the seats in the state at 38 out of 80, while BJP is only leading in 31 out of the 80 total seats in the state.
