Eight Killed After Pilgrims' Vehicle Veers Off Road And Crashes Into Well In Solapur, Maharashtra

A tragic road accident in Maharashtra's Solapur district claimed the lives of at least eight people, including four women and four children, on Sunday evening. The victims were travelling together on a religious pilgrimage when the pickup van they were travelling in lost control and plunged into a roadside well.

Solapur Superintendent of Police Atul Kulkarni confirmed that eight people died in the mishap, while seven others were rescued with injuries.
