Uttar Pradesh Governor and Chief Minister Celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi with Messages of Peace and Harmony

Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extend Eid Milad-un-Nabi greetings, highlighting the festival's message of peace and harmony. Adityanath also wishes teachers on Teachers' Day, honouring Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's contributions to education.

On the eve of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended their greetings to the public. This festival marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. Both leaders highlighted the festival's core message of peace and harmony. They emphasised the importance of unity and mutual respect in society.

Promoting Peace and Harmony

Governor Patel remarked that Prophet Muhammad's teachings reinforce social harmony, unity, and justice. "He gave the message of peace, brotherhood and mutual respect to the entire humanity. His life and teachings inspire us to follow the path of truth, service and goodwill," she stated. Her message focused on how these values are essential for a cohesive society.

Chief Minister Adityanath expressed his hope that this celebration would inspire people to foster societal harmony. "The birth anniversary of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad is celebrated as this festival. I hope it will inspire people to strengthen peace and harmony," he mentioned in his statement. He sees the festival as a chance to renew efforts towards community unity.

Teachers Day Observance

In a separate message, Chief Minister Adityanath also acknowledged Teachers Day, which coincides with the birth anniversary of former president Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on September 5. Dr. Radhakrishnan's contributions to education and philosophy continue to guide us. As an ideal teacher, he remains a source of inspiration," Adityanath noted.

The Chief Minister praised teachers for their crucial role in shaping young minds and the nation's future. He stressed that educators are vital in laying the foundation for positive societal change. Adityanath urged teachers to stay committed to enhancing education quality and contributing to nation-building efforts.
