March 22 falls on a Sunday, which is a standard weekly holiday for banks across the country. All scheduled commercial bank branches nationwide will remain closed that day. Customers can continue to rely on ATMs and digital channels during the weekend closure.

Further closures are planned later in the month for Shree Ram Navami on March 26. On that date, branches will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Belapur, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Ranchi and Shimla, as listed in the RBI holiday calendar.

The next day, March 27, Shree Ram Navami (Chaite Dasain) will be observed in several other locations.
