ED attaches property worth Rs 27 crore belonging to Virbhadra Singh
The Enforcement Directorate attached a farm house worth Rs 27 crore in Delhi belonging to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Monday. The property was attached in connection with a disproportionate assets case being probed against him. Singh, however, has alleged political vendetta.

The property was registered under the name Maple Destinations and Dreambuild. It was reportedly purchased for Rs 6.61 crore, partly using unaccounted-for money, the ED had said. The ED had issued a provisional order under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act attaching the farmhouse in the Mehrauli area.
On Friday, the CBI had filed a chargesheet against Singh, his wife and others in a DA case. They were accused of amassing wealth and assets to the tune of Rs 10 crore. The Delhi high court had also refused to quash proceedings against Singh.
