The Hindon River's water level surged, leading to the inundation of the vicinity near Noida's Ecotech 3 area, leaving several vehicles stranded on Tuesday. The swelling river also caused several houses to be submerged in the low-lying regions of Noida.

A distressing impact was felt by about 350 cars belonging to online cab aggregator Ola, which were parked at a dump yard in Greater Noida. The overflow from the swollen Hindon River submerged the low-lying area, affecting these parked vehicles, according to news agency PTI.

Noida MLA Pankaj Singh also visited the impacted villages, interacting with locals and government officials.

In a tragic incident on Monday, the bodies of two boys were retrieved after they went missing in Ghaziabad. Adarsh (18) and 16-year-old Krish Mishra disappeared on Sunday in the Karhera village when it was engulfed by floodwaters caused by an increase in the river's water discharge. After an exhaustive rescue operation by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), the two bodies were recovered.

The flooding in Ghaziabad has compelled people from affected areas to seek refuge in the homes of their relatives or relief camps. Additionally, two electric substations at Kanha Upvan and Morti have been submerged in eight-feet water, disrupting the electricity supply in societies of Rajnagar extension.
