Dust storm accompanied by rains hits Delhi, brings relief from heat

New Delhi, Jun 13: A sudden change in weather brought respite to the residents of the national capital as gusts of wind carrying thick dust blew across the region this afternoon.

There were reports of rainfall in some parts of the city. The scorching sun was blotted out by the clouds and the weather cooled at around 2 P.M.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 39.2 degrees Celsius at 3 P.M.

The weather department had yesterday predicted overcast conditions today in the national capital.
