DU, AMU official websites hacked by Pakistani hackers

The mobile version and the web page were displaying messages on how the Indian Army was harassing the people of Kashmir.

The websites of Delhi University and Aligarh Muslim University were hacked allegedly by a Pakistani hackers group on Tuesday. The hackers smeared the websites with posters of the alleged brutalities by the Indian Army in Kashmir.

The mobile version and the web page were displaying messages on how the Indian Army was harassing the people of Kashmir. The matter came to light only when few users complained about it.

The website were hacked & pro-Kashmir freedom messages were uploaded. The hackers also posted videos on killing and rape of Kashmiri people by the Indian soldiers. However, the website was later restored.

Meanwhile, the Delhi police said they were unaware of the websites being hacked.

So far no complaint has been registered in this regard.
