Drug Party Probe Reveals Blood Report Confirms Liquor Consumption by Ex-Minister's Son-in-Law

Medical tests have confirmed that Pranjal Khewalkar, son-in-law of former Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse, and another individual consumed alcohol at a drug party. The police busted this party the previous day, according to an officer on Monday. Khewalkar's wife, Rohini Khadse, who is also the NCP SP state unit president, met with a senior Pune Police officer on the same day.

Blood Report Confirms Liquor at Drug Party

Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar confirmed Rohini Khadse's visit to the Police Commissionerate. She met with DCP Crime Nikhil Pingle, the officer investigating the case. Medical reports for two accused individuals, including Khewalkar, indicated alcohol consumption. The police had raided a studio apartment in Kharadi at 3:30 am on Sunday, arresting seven people and seizing suspected drugs and liquor.

Drug Party Raid in Pune

The raid led to the arrest of Khewalkar and six others, who are now in police custody until July 29. The police seized suspected cocaine, marijuana, hookah setups, and liquor bottles during the operation. Rohini Khadse expressed concerns on X about not receiving her husband's medical report while it was being shown on news channels.

Rohini Khadse mentioned that when they requested the report from the police, they were told it would be submitted directly to the court. Her father, Eknath Khadse, alleged that his son-in-law was falsely implicated. He questioned why there was a delay in receiving the drug-related report despite positive alcohol content results.

Allegations of Tampering

Eknath Khadse raised concerns about potential tampering with blood samples, similar to a previous Porsche car crash case. He claimed that police released visuals of the raid and personal photos of Khewalkar to defame them. "This entire action was aimed at defaming us, and the involvement of police is suspicious," he said.

The senior Khadse questioned why there was a delay in obtaining drug-related reports while alcohol content results were already available. He suggested that this delay could indicate possible tampering with evidence against his son-in-law.

The situation has raised questions about the handling of evidence and motives behind releasing certain information to the public. As investigations continue, all eyes are on how authorities will address these allegations and ensure justice is served fairly.
