Donations to political party: AAP witnesses rise of 275% in donations
New Delhi, Feb 9: The Aam Admi Party (AAP) has witnessed an increase of 275% in donations from FY 2013-14 to FY 2014-15, which is much higher than the National parties' total increase of 151%, said a report.
While Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) topped the list as the party received a total of Rs 437.35 crores as donations during FY 2014-15, added the report by Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR).

1234 donations from individuals and corporates in the FY 2014-15 helped BJP in accumulating Rs 437.35 crores.
Name, address and PAN details of 111 donors of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal led AAP, who together, contributed Rs 91.47 lakhs (each donation above Rs 20,000), were not available in the donations reports of AAP for FY 2013-14 and 2014-15, added the report.
"Total donations received by AAP in FY 2013-14 and 2014-15 equals only 5.14% of the total donations received by 5 National Parties, collectively, during the same period," said the statement issued by the ADR.
