Dog Fights King Cobra To Save Lives Of Children In UP | Viral Video

A pit bull named Jenny saved children from a deadly King Cobra in Jhansi. The snake had entered the garden of a house in Shiv Ganesh colony, where the children of the domestic help were playing. Hearing their cries for help, Jenny broke free from her leash and attacked the snake, ultimately killing it.

Jenny's owner, Punjab Singh, shared that this isn't Jenny's first heroic act. She has killed eight to ten snakes so far. Mr Singh was not home during the incident but expressed relief that Jenny prevented a potential tragedy. "If the snake had entered the house, anything could have happened," he remarked.

Heroic Pit Bull Saves Lives

Mr Singh explained that his house is near fields where snakes are often seen during the rainy season. He recounted how the children screamed when they saw a black snake. As it tried to escape, Jenny noticed and attacked it, saving the day once again.

In a video of the incident, Jenny can be seen fiercely shaking her head with the cobra clamped between her jaws. The struggle lasted about five minutes until the snake succumbed to its injuries from being repeatedly slammed.

Gratitude Towards Animals

Mr Singh expressed immense gratitude towards Jenny and emphasised showing love to animals. "In today's world, as people drift away from animals, these animals are doing jobs that humans should be doing," he said. He also mentioned that despite negative perceptions about pit bulls, Jenny has never harmed anyone.

The family has other animals too. Mr Singh mentioned a bull once saved his brother's life and they have a mongoose that keeps mice away from their home. These experiences highlight their appreciation for animals' roles in their lives.

Mr Singh believes that if Jenny hadn't intervened, a disaster might have occurred. Her actions earned her deep gratitude from him and his family. He hopes people will recognise and appreciate the positive impact animals can have on human lives.
