DMK to stay away from Palanisamy govt's floor test tomorrow
The DMK will not participate in Edappadi K Palanisamy’s floor test, says Kanimozhi.
Chennai, Feb 17: As Tamil Nadu assembly is all set to witness a floor test on Saturday, where the fate of Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy government be will be decided, the opposition Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam has decided to stay away from it.
"The DMK has made it very clear that we'll not be against/for it. We'll not be participating," senior DMK leader Kanimozhi told ANI.

Kanimozhi added that the DMK was against the appointment of Palanisamy as the new chief minister of the southern state. Commenting on the ongoing crisis in the state, the daughter of former TN CM M Karunanidhi, said, "People are now of the view that only a government by the DMK can speak about their problems and provide solutions.
Palanisamy has claimed that he has the support of more than 120 MLAs to survive the floor test. On Thursday, Palanisamy along with his cabinet colleagues were sworn-in by Governor Vidyasagar Rao to rule the state.
On Thursday, addressing party workers at a meeting in Coimbatore, DMK working president MK Stalin said a government led by either any AIADMK nominee (Palanisamy) or his rival O Pannerselvam would not be stable.
