DMDK MLAs to contribute one-month's salary for J-K relief

The MLAs will make their contribution to Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF), DMDK chief Vijayakanth said in a statement.
Earlier, Vijayakanth, whose party is an ally of the BJP, had announced contributing Rs 10 lakh to the PMNRF from his personal funds.
Even the Delhi BJP MLAs and Municipal Councillors have decided to donate their one month's salary and allowances to the Prime Minister's disaster relief fund for the help of Jammu and Kashmir flood victims.
The 27 Aam Aadmi Party MLAs will also donate Rs 20 lakh each from their MLA development fund for relief and rescue operation in flood-ravaged Jammu and Kashmir state.
