Dinakaran vows to protect party by any means
He claimed that he has the support of 21 MLAs, "I will go to any extent to protect our party."
A day after the EPS-OPS faction of AIADMK expelled TTV Dinakaran, he reiterated his stand that he would go to any extent to 'protect his party'.
Speaking to media, Dinakaran did not approve of the general council meeting held on Tuesday in Chennai, saying 'the meeting has no legal sanction'.
He said, "No legal sanction for the [general council ] meeting and those who attended are not general council members."

He claimed that he has the support of 21 MLAs, "I will go to any extent to protect our party." He assured that his faction would never go with their political enemy DMK.
The general council called by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E Palaniswami led faction of the AIADMK removed Sasikala from the post of temporary general secretary and Dinakaran as deputy general secretary.
RB Udaykumar, Tamil Nadu Minister, who read the resolution at the council meeting said all announcements of TTV Dinakaran are not binding on the party.
