Did Infosys Co-Founder Narayana Murthy Lash Out At Kareena Kapoor In Viral Video?

An old video of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy calling out Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has gone viral.

In the clip, Murthy is seen criticising Kareena for not bothering to care her fans. The incident occurred when they had travelled on the same flight.

"The other day I was coming from London, and next to me was Kareena Kapoor, sitting in her seat. So many people came to her and said hello. She didn't even bother to react," said Narayana Murthy.

"I was a little bit surprised. Whoever came to me, I stood up, and we discussed for a minute or half a minute-that's all they were expecting," Mr Narayana Murthy added.

However, his wife and author Sudha Murthy interrupted him and said that she has a million admirers and "she must have been tired."

"Murthy, a founder, a software person, will have maybe 10,000 (fans), but a film actor will get a million," Sudha Murty added.

However, Murthy continued to make his point that it was important for people to give back the affection showered upon them.

"That is not the issue. The issue is that when somebody shows affection, you can also show it back, however cryptically. I think that is very important. These are all ways to reduce your ego, that's all," he said.

Kareena is now on the receiving end as netizens slam her behaviour. "That's Why nobody will even remember who Kareena was just after her glamour is gone.. On the other side people are and people will remember you even after hundred years from now," a user said.

Another user stated, "She will be forgotten in some year but you will be remembered for forever what you have done for people and country."

"I love how Sudha mam is defending the woman though Murthy sir is right.. one way this would stir PRO but seeing the comments section I think Kareena's fans actually support what Murthy sir is telling .. seeing no defending comments for Kareena shows the growth in mindset for Indian diaspora.. proud of my citizens," another netizen said.
