'Dharohar Bharat Ki Punarutthaan Ki Kahani' traces PM’s execution to build new national iconic sites

Doordarshan's 'Dharohar Bharat Ki Punarutthaan Ki Kahani' is a compelling series that showcases how Prime Minister Narendra Modi's regime has given special emphasis on conserving India's rich civilisational and cultural heritage, glorifying India's freedom fighters, and the supreme sacrifice of India's soldiers.

The first episode of the two-part documentary series was aired on Friday at 8 pm. It is anchored by popular digital media presenter Kamiya Jani.

The first part throws light on the steps taken by the PM Modi government to restore the rich legacy of our architectural marvels. Be it Somnath Temple in Gujarat or in Ujjain Temple in Madhya Pradesh, it mentions about the unprecedented changes that occurred since PM Modi came to power.

In the last few years, PM Modi has used the role of spirituality in strengthening the unity of the nation, while dwelling upon the national and international potential of tourism and spiritual tourism. He has been taking steps to revive the ancient glory by building modern infrastructure.

Equally, the sanctity of our revived and beautified spiritual centres, such as the Sabarmati Ashram, the reason behind the construction of new monuments and statues such as the Statue of Unity and the Panchteerth can be fully understood through this documentary.
