New Delhi, Jan 28: Less than a fortnight is left for the big day (Feb 7) when all the political parties will face one of the toughest fight in their political history.

The major stakeholders in Delhi elections, BJP and Aam Aadmi Party are toying with all permutations and combinations to outshine others, though both are equally nervous for their winning prospect.

Kiran Bedi may prove suicidal for BJP

BJP tried to gain upper hand in the competition by projecting Kiran Bedi as BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate but it seems this decision may backfire. It is being believed that prized catch Bedi may prove to be a political liability for the Saffron party.

As per the latest poll survey done by the ABP News-Nielsen, BJP is losing grip among the Delhi voters in comparison to its arch rival AAP. The Survey done on January 24-25 says that the AAP support base is constantly improving while BJP's graph is going down.

Agency in a statement said, "As compared to the previous snap poll conducted in the second week of January, where 46% intended to vote for Aam Aadmi Party, there is an increase of 4% (from 46% to 50%) for the party. For BJP, there is a decline by 4% in the recent snap poll (from 45% to 41%)".

Earlier, BJP convinced Kiran Bedi to join party and within five days she was declared CM candidate.

Apparently, to cash on Bedi's clean and honest record, party included top cop in Modi brigade, though that earned ire of State party leadership.

Experts believed that party took decision to include Bedi as it was in panic mode with rising momentum in favour of AAP in Delhi election. But the decision may prove suicidal for the Saffron brigade.
