Delhi on high alert as Lashkar looks to strike
New Delhi, Dec 5: The Delhi police have filed a first information report or FIR stating that operatives of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba are planning a terror strike in New Delhi.
The FIR has been filed based on intelligence Inputs that suggest members of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba would infiltrate into Delhi and carry out a terror attack on the capital of the country.

The alert has been termed as Grade A and actionable intelligence bureau officials have stated. The FIR has been filed so that the alert levels among the cops is high.
The police have been advised to enhance security in the capital and also check throughly for suspicious objects. All entry and exit points in the capital city are also directed to be manned thorughly.
There have been a series of alerts issued by the Intelligence bureau in the past couple of months. With terrorists infiltrating in small batches into India through Jammu and Kashmir the IB suspects that a team could land in Delhi and carry out a strike.
