Delhi Minor Rape Case: Accused Premoday Khakha, Wife Sent To 14-Day Judicial Custody
In the Delhi minor girl raped by government official case, the special POCSO judge at Tis Hazari Court ordered the remand of the accused official, Premoday Khakha, and his wife, Seema Rani, into 14-day judicial custody. The arrest of the accused and his wife took place on Monday, August 21.
Premoday Khakha -- a deputy director in the city government's women and child development department -- allegedly raped the girl several times between November 2020 and January 2021, according to the Delhi Police.

Seema Rani, the wife of accused Premoday Khakha, allegedly gave abortion pills or medication to the minor girl to terminate the pregnancy.
Khakha and his wife Seema Rani were arrested on Monday.
According to the order, during the suspension period, the officer is not permitted to leave the department headquarters without obtaining prior permission.
