Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra Directs Officials to Address Civic Issues at Khajuri Chowk
Delhi minister Kapil Mishra recently inspected Khajuri Chowk in the North-East district. He instructed officials to take immediate action to improve traffic flow, enhance the area's appearance, and address long-standing civic issues. Mishra was joined by Union minister Harsh Malhotra, North-East Delhi MP Manoj Tiwari, and Ghonda MLA Ajay Mahawar during this visit.

Mishra's visit aimed at the comprehensive development of Khajuri Khas. He focused on easing traffic near Khajuri Chowk, resolving waterlogging issues around the Khajuri police station and Sabhapur, and addressing encroachments and poor road conditions. These issues have troubled residents for years.
Traffic and Infrastructure Improvements
The government is committed to solving everyday problems faced by the public. Major steps are being taken to fix traffic jams, water accumulation, and road damage, according to Mishra. He mentioned that Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has instructed officials to submit detailed reports on key roads and expedite development efforts.
Mishra had previously visited the area in February to assess the situation. On his second visit, he discussed traffic congestion and damaged infrastructure with concerned officials. The minister directed them to carry out road repairs without delay and ensure basic services like sewerage and water supply are addressed promptly.
Commitment to Development
During his visit, Mishra issued a series of instructions aimed at improving Khajuri Khas. "Our goal is to make Delhi clean, beautiful, and well-developed," Mishra stated. His focus areas included ensuring smoother traffic flow near Khajuri Chowk and resolving waterlogging issues.
The inspection also highlighted the need for addressing encroachments and poor road conditions that have been troubling residents for years. Mishra emphasized the government's commitment to resolving these everyday problems faced by the public.
In summary, Mishra's visit underscored the government's dedication to improving infrastructure in Khajuri Khas. By addressing traffic congestion, waterlogging, and road conditions, they aim to enhance the quality of life for residents in this area.
