Delhi Tragedy: Siblings Found Dead in Shop, Father Suspected and Absconding
In a tragic incident that has shaken the northwest Delhi's Keshav Puram area, a 13-year-old girl and her younger brother were found dead inside their father's grocery shop on Saturday. The Delhi Police are currently on the hunt for the children’s father, Manish, who is the prime suspect in this heart-wrenching case.

The distressing discovery was made late Saturday evening when a call about the incident was received by the police at 7.15 pm. According to the children's mother, the siblings had attended school that day but failed to return home. Initially, she presumed they were with their father, who had a routine of picking them up. However, attempts to contact Manish were futile as his mobile phone was unreachable.
Later in the evening, upon opening the grocery shop, which is situated on the ground floor of their residence, other family members found the children in an unconscious state. Despite being rushed to the hospital, they were declared dead by doctors. Notably, their school bags were also found inside the shop, adding a layer of poignancy to the scene.
Police investigations suggest that Manish may have administered a poisonous substance to his children or smothered them, leading to their untimely demise. The exact cause of death awaits confirmation pending post-mortem reports. In light of these events, authorities are exploring all angles to piece together this devastating puzzle.
Further inquiries have revealed that Manish was grappling with financial troubles, which might have contributed to this drastic action. The police have recorded statements from family members and are meticulously reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity as part of their efforts to locate Manish.
As this investigation unfolds, specialized teams have been deployed to track down Manish and ascertain the full extent of this tragedy. The community remains in shock as more details are expected to emerge following the completion of forensic analyses.
