Delhi: Congress activists show black flags to Arvind Kejriwal
New Delhi, Jul 9: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was today shown black flags and his car stopped by Congress activists at Keshopur here, where he had gone to inaugurate a sewage treatment plant.
The protesters, led by Congress Municipal Councillor Amrita Dhawan, laid siege to the entrance of the plant at around 10 am alleging inflated power and water bills.
Police resorted to mild action and pushed the workers away as Kejriwal accompanied by Chief Secretary K K Sharma came out of the plant.
They accused Kejriwal of being a "hypocrite" referring to his days in the Opposition, "when he had asked people not to pay inflated bills."
