Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's Day Out: Hanuman Temple Visit, Media Briefing And A Roadshow

After being in jail for more than 50 days, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal is now back in action and he will now lead the INDIA bloc's Lok Sabha Election 2024 campaign in Delhi. Speaking to the media, minutes after his release, Arvind Kejriwal informed about his Saturday, May 11 schedule, CM said, he along with top party leaders and workers will visit Connaught Place's famous Hanuman Temple at 11 am to thank the lord for giving him the power to be strong and take on the evil forces conspiring against him.

Kejriwal wooed his supporters to reach Connaught Place and show the strength of party. He added that he would also address the media at 1 pm and later, in the evening, a roadshow will be held in favor of South Delhi Lok Sabha Assembly candidate Shahiram Pahalwan.

"We all have to come together to save the country. 140 crore people have to fight together against dictatorship. We will meet at the Hanuman Mandir in Connaught Place at 11 am on Saturday, before holding a press conference at the party office at 1 pm I thank you all," Kejriwal said.

It is expected that GK MLA Sourabh Bhardwaj, Kalka Ji MLA Atishi, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, and other senior party leaders will accompany CM Kejriwal.

As per the reports, the roadshow will be held between 4 and 6 pm in Mehrauli and Krishna Nagar areas of Delhi today.

The Supreme Court on Friday gave an interim relief to Kejriwal till June 1 and he has to surrender on June 2, after the last round of elections. The ED arrested him on March 31 in connection with money laundering allegations related to now scrapped, Delhi Liquor Policjy.
