Data shows demonetisation choked terror funds, says Nirmala Sitharaman
Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday said that the data shows that the flow, to the terrorists, of funds has clearly been choked after demonetisation.

''Data shows that the flow, to the terrorists, of funds has clearly been choked after demonetisation. As a result of which, from J&K in 2017 summer, the number of stone pelting incidents have come down,'' Sitharaman said.
Defence Minister said,''And because they are really running short of funds, there have been a lot of attempted bank robberies.
Clearly shows that demonetisation has affected the flow of funds for terrorism, similarly in left wing extremist affected areas too.
