ROAD DIVERSIONS AND RESTRICTIONS:

  • Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and JLN Marg will have diversions and restrictions in place.
  • Heavy vehicles and buses will not be allowed on the roads from Daryaganj to Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and from Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road.
  • Commuters are advised to avoid specific roads, including Rajghat to JLN Marg, JLN Marg from Kamla Market roundabout to Rajghat, Asaf Ali Road from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate, and Bahadurshah Zafar Marg from Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk to Delhi Gate.

GATE ENTRY DETAILS FOR ARUN JAITLEY STADIUM:

  • For the convenience of attendees, entry to the stadium will be organized as follows:
  • Gate Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, located on the Southern side of the Stadium, will be accessible from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg.
  • Gate Nos. 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15, positioned on the Eastern side of the Stadium, can be reached from JLN Marg, near the Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal.
  • Gate Nos. 16, 17, and 18 on the Western side of the Stadium will have access points from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, near the Petrol Pump.

PARKING INFORMATION FOR IND vs AFG WORLD CUP MATCH

For the upcoming India vs Afghanistan World Cup match, parking arrangements have been made with specific guidelines in place to ensure a streamlined experience for attendees. Here are the key details:

Limited Parking Availability:

  • Limited parking space is available in the vicinity of the stadium.
  • It is mandatory to display the car parking label on the vehicle's windscreen.
  • Ensure that the vehicle number is written on the parking label.

Parking Label Requirement:

Vehicles without a valid parking label will not be permitted in the vicinity of the stadium.

Recommended Routes:

Car parking label holders are advised to take routes via Ring Road, JLN Marg, Asaf Ali Road, or Bahadurshah Zafar Marg. A 'U' turn at Delhi Gate is allowed.

Prohibited Parking Areas:

The advisory explicitly states that parking on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, JLN Marg, and Ring Road from Rajghat to IP Flyover (on both carriageways) is strictly prohibited. Vehicles parked in these areas will be towed away and subject to legal prosecution.

Park and Ride Facility:

  • Spectators and unlabelled vehicle owners can utilize the park and ride facility, which offers convenient alternatives.
  • Spectators arriving in their vehicles are encouraged to make use of the Mata Sundari parking, Shanti Van parking, and the parking area under Veldrome Road.
  • These locations provide the opportunity to park and ride to the stadium or opt for a short walk to reach the venue.

PLEASE NOTE: Spectators planning to use application-based taxi services and other taxis for drop-offs and pickups are advised to use the service lane located on Ring Road between the IP Flyover and the Rajghat crossing
