Court extends IM founder Qureshi’s custody
The remand of Indian Mujahideen, co-founder, Abdul Subhan Qureshi has been extended till July 4, by a special NIA court in Kochi. He is being tried in connection with the Wagon camp case.

Qureshi was sent back to the Viyyur Central Jail. The identification parade of the accused was completed a few weeks ago. Qureshi, the 35th accused in Wagamon SIMI Camp case, had been absconding since the Ahmedabad blast in 2008.
Qureshi was arrested by the Delhi police earlier this year. He started off with the SIMI before co-founding the Indian Mujahideen along with the Bhatkal brothers. It was after a chase that lasted nearly 10 years that he was finally nabbed by the Delhi police.
