Congress trying to form govt on basis of bogus voter cards, says Amit Shah
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah exuded confidence and said that his party will form the government in the state as campaigning in the poll-bound Karnataka entered the last day.
"BJP is getting immense support in Karnataka. BJP will form a government in the state," Amit Shah said while addressing a public meeting in Tumkur. Shah further alleged that the Congress party was trying to win the state assembly election on the basis of bogus voter cards and money.
"Congress has read the writing on the wall. They know their reign of corruption and oppression is ending in Karnataka. That is why they are turning to unethical and anti-democratic ways to succeed. However, their attempts will be thwarted and the power of the people will win," he said.

Amit Shah said around 10, 000 voter ID cards, printing mission was found from Congress party worker's flat and an attempt was made to add 50,000 fictitious names in the voters' register. The Election Commission's revelation of the same at midnight was followed by political sparring, as both BJP and Congress alleged the other's links with the concerned flat.
