Congress To Clean Sweep Haryana With Around 57 Seats, Predicts Dhruv Research
The high decibel voting in Haryana has come to an end. All eyes are now set on the exit polls, with political parties, candidates, and their supporters keenly awaiting the results.
According to the exit poll by Dhruv Research, Congress in Haryana appears to be heading towards a majority, with an estimated 57 seats. The majority mark is 46.

The exit poll suggests that BJP is likely to secure 27 seats, while others may get 6. It should be noted that Dhruv Research is an independent agency.
The main contest in the election is believed to be between Congress and BJP. The exit poll results also reflect this, with Congress looking poised to form the government in Haryana with the most seats, while the BJP, which was hoping to come to power, appears to be facing a setback.
At the beginning of the election campaign, there was talk of an alliance between the Congress and AAP, but the discussions between the two parties did not lead to any agreement.
Apart from Congress, BJP, and AAP, JJP is also in the fray in Haryana. JJP has formed an alliance with Chandrashekhar Azad's party. Meanwhile, INLD teamed up with Mayawati's BSP for the election.
While the BJP was hoping for a hat-trick in Haryana, Congress is banking on anti-incumbency sentiment as it looks to reclaim power after 10 years.
Congress has been out of power in both the 2014 and 2019 elections. However, in 2019, it gained 16 seats, and the BJP lost seven.
The BJP was six seats short of a majority and formed the government in alliance with JJP.
