Congress 2nd List Of Candidates For Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: Grand Old Party Announces 26 Names
For the upcoming Delhi Assembly Elections 2024, Congress on Tuesday released second list of candidates carrying 26 names.
Congress has fielded Farhad Suri from Jangpura against senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
The list also includes names of senior leaders Rajesh Lilothia (Seemapuri), Asim Ahmed Khan (Matia Mahal), Raghuvinder Shokeen (Matiala), Dharmpal Chandela (Rajouri Garden), Gurcharan Singh Raju (Krishna Nagar) among others.

The list was finalised by Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and MP Rahul Gandhi, who joined the CEC meeting via video conferencing, while Qazi Mohammad Nizamuddin and Devender Yadav were present at the AICC headquarters in Delhi.
Earlier, on December 12, the Congress had disclosed its initial list of 21 candidates. This list featured ex-MP Sandeep Dikshit running from New Delhi, potentially facing off against AAP's Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal currently holds the MLA position in New Delhi.
