Commercial LPG Cylinder Price Hiked By Rs 39 In Delhi
Oil marketing companies (OMCs) have revised the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders. As of September 1 the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has increased by Rs 39. The new retail price for these cylinders is now Rs 1,691.50.
This marks third consecutive adjustment in the rates for 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders. Last month, OMCs raised the price by Rs 8.50, effective from August 1, 2024. However, there has been no change in the price of the 14 kg domestic gas cylinder.

Previous Adjustments
On July 1, 2024, there was a reduction in the cost of these commercial cylinders by Rs 69. This recent hike follows that previous adjustment. The continuous changes reflect the fluctuating market conditions and operational costs faced by OMCs.
The unchanged price of domestic gas cylinders provides some relief to households amidst these adjustments. The focus remains on balancing commercial needs with consumer affordability.
"The consistent adjustments are necessary to align with global market trends," said an industry expert. These changes are part of a broader strategy to manage supply and demand effectively.
Impact on Businesses
Businesses relying on commercial LPG will need to adjust their budgets accordingly. The increase may affect operational costs for restaurants, hotels, and other establishments using these cylinders extensively.
The ongoing revisions highlight the dynamic nature of fuel pricing in India. Stakeholders must stay informed about these changes to plan their expenses better.
The oil marketing companies continue to monitor global oil prices and domestic demand closely. Future adjustments will likely depend on these factors and government policies.
The latest hike underscores the importance of staying updated with fuel price trends. Consumers and businesses alike must adapt to these changes for efficient financial planning.
