Chikungunya, scrub typhus tests to be free at all medical colleges
Jaipur, Sep 15: Tests for chikungunya and scrub typhus will be free of cost at all medical colleges and associated hospitals, Rajasthan Health Minister Rajendra Rathore announced.
Free tests and medicines will be available from tomorrow, he said. Earlier, the charges for chikungunya was Rs 250 and scrub typhus was Rs 350.

"Seasonal diseases are under control. Till now six deaths from dengue and 393 cases have been reported. There have been 68 cases of chikungunya," Rathore said.
A joint director-level officer has been deputed in most affected districts. Stock of medicines has been ensured, he said.
