Chhattisgarh Youth Kills A Man, Rapes His Wife Next To Dead Body

In a heinous act, a 21-year-old youth raped a man and raped his wife next to his dead body. The incident occurred on July 31 night in Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh, India Today reported.

The accused is identified as Karthik and the victims are 42-year-old Sukhlal and his wife. According to the report, Karthik entered the house when the couple was asleep.

He killed Sukhlal with a stick, and threatened the woman of killing her before raping her as her husband's dead body lay in a pool of blood.

Going by the preliminary investigation, Sukhlal suspected his wife of having an affair with Karthik which led to an argument. A fight broke out between Karthik and Sukhlal.

Based on the woman's complaint, the cops arrested the accused which has confessed to his crime. An FIR has been filed under the relevant section of the IPC and he has been sent to jail.
