CBI team raids ex-Bihar CM Rabri Devi's Patna residence over land-for-job 'scam'
A team from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday morning reached at former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi's residence in connection with land for jobs scam.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Rabri's son Tejashwi Yadav was also present when the federal probe agency's team reached the former Bihar CM's residence.

Last month, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, and Misa Bharti were issued summons by the Rouse Avenue court. Based on CBI's charge sheet, the court had asked them to appear on March 15, but the CBI team reached Rabri's residence before the date.
The CBI had filed the chargesheet in October last year, against Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti and the 13 others in the alleged scam. The scam involved the alleged allocation of government land to individuals in exchange for them securing jobs for certain candidates.
In 2017, the CBI had conducted raids at several locations linked to Rabri Devi and her family, including her son Tejashwi Yadav, who was the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar at the time. The CBI was investigating the alleged irregularities in the award of maintenance contracts for two IRCTC hotels to a private company during Lalu Prasad Yadav's tenure as the Railways Minister.
During the course of the investigation, allegations were made that a plot of land in Patna, owned by Rabri Devi, was transferred to a company called Delight Marketing, which was allegedly linked to her family. The company was then sold to a third party at an inflated price, resulting in losses to the state exchequer.
