Caught On Cam: Tree Falls On Moving Scooty in Jodhpur, 3 Injured

Three youths escaped from the jaws of death after a part of a tree fell on their moving scooter. The incident occurred in Jodhpur in Rajasthan.

Jodhpur has been receiving heavy rainfall in the last few days. Thunderstorms with gusty wind, accompanied by light to moderate rainfall, were recorded at a few places in east Rajasthan and isolated places in the state's western parts just two days ago, a Met department spokesperson had told PTI.

In the viral video captured on CCTV, a part of the tree is seen falling on the moving white two-wheeler. The trio finds themselves trapped beneath the immense weight of the fallen tree. Startled bystanders swiftly come to their aid, springing into action.

In the video, the people tried to lift the tree and rescue the three boys.

However, they were taken to the nearby hospital and the trio was discharged after getting treatment, according to a report in NDTV. All three are out of danger.

The clip of the incident has now gone viral.

Meanwhile, the weather agency has issued a yellow alert for May 30 and 31 for parts of Rajasthan. It has also issued an orange alert for the districts of Jaipur, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Jodhpur, and Ajmer, where thunderstorms and thundersqualls with speed of 50-60 kmph are likely.

A few days ago, strong winds had swept away a wedding venue and video clips had shown guests holding on to whatever they could find as 'mandap' was brought down by winds.
