Caught On Cam: Delhi Man Dies After Being Dragged For 200 Meters By Thieves

In a shocking incident, a man died after being dragged for nearly 200 meters on road in Delhi's Vasant Kunj area. The victim has been identified as 43-year-old cab driver Bijendra, a resident of Faridabad.

A group of men tried to steal his car and used the vehicle to drag him over 200 metres, NDTV reported citing officials. The incident occurred on on National Highway-8, near the Delhi airport at 11.30 pm on Tuesday.

As per the cops, the thieves tried to steal his taxi in the Mahipalpur area. As they tried to flee with his vehicle, they hit him with his car and dragged him for over 200 metres, resulting in severe head injuries that proved fatal.

He was found in the pool of flood. The cab driver died later after suffering severe head injuries.

The cops have now lodged a murder case against the unknown people and the investigation is on.

The entire incident was caught on camera and the disturbing visuals have now gone viral.

In this year, several instances of people being killed after being dragged on the road have been reported. Notably, a 20-year-old woman was killed on New Year's Eve in Delhi after being dragged under a car for over four kilometers.
