Candle March For Loss Of Lives: Students Protest Against Authorities, Demand Justice For Deceased IAS Students
A day after 3 IAS aspirants lost their lives due to waterlogging in the basement of their institute and a lack of drainage facility in the area, hundreds of students hit the streets in Delhi's Rajendra Nagar, near densely populated Karol Bagh, on Sunday evening to protest against the authorities and demand justice for their fellow students, who are no more.
Students organised a candle march to register their demand for a fast-track inquiry and judgment against the culprits.

Talking to OneIndia correspondent Pankaj Mishra some students said that these deaths were result of MCD's poor work, while some held the owners and management of the institute responsible for the saddening incident as they were illegally running a library in the basement of the building, where rain waterlogged.
HERE ARE SOME PICTURES FROM STUDENT's CANDLE MARCH:

After filing a case under sections of death due to negligence, the Delhi Police has detained the owner of Rau's Institue.
Talking to the media, M Harshavardhan DCP (Central Delhi) said, "The caller told us that there was a possibility that some people were trapped. We are investigating how the entire basement was flooded. It appeared that the basement got flooded very fast due to which some people were trapped inside."
Reacting to the incident, Delhi Minister Atishi directed Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar to initiate an inquiry and submit a report within 24 hours on the incident.
Institute's Reaction:
"Fully committed to supporting ongoing investigations into tragic incident," says Rau's IAS Study Circle coaching centre on student deaths
"Deeply saddened by the loss of promising young individuals who were preparing to serve the nation", the statement added.
