Cabinet approves Rs 2,000 crore settlement for displaced families of PoK
The cabinet also cleared Central Assistance of Rs. 2,000 Cr for one time settlement of 36,384 displaced families from Pakistan occupied Kashmir and Chhamb.
New Delhi, Nov 30 To bring in relief to the displaced people of PoK the union cabinet today approved a special package of Rs 2,000 crore. The cabinet also approved inclusion of some more castes from the state in the Central OBC list.

The cabinet also cleared Central Assistance of Rs. 2,000 Cr for one time settlement of 36,384 displaced families from Pakistan occupied Kashmir and Chhamb.
In a bid to boost tourism the Cabinet approved easier tourist & business visa norms for overseas investors. Cabinet also approved liberalisation, simplification and rationalisation of existing visa regime.
The Union cabinet also approved notification of inclusion and amendments in Central List of OBCs for Assam, Bihar, HP, Jharkhand, Maha, MP, J&K & Uttarakhand.
