Businessman shot dead in heart of Bengaluru
The police say that the Kumar was returning home and as he got off his car, three people fired on him. Kumar was declared dead at hospital
Bengaluru, Oct 31: The Bengaluru police have launched an investigation after a businessman was shot dead in the city late on Sunday night. Surinder Kumar a resident of Sanjaynagar was shot dead by three unidentified assailants at 10 PM on Sunday.
The police say that the Kumar was returning home and as he got off his car, three people fired on him. Kumar was declared dead at hospital. The body has been sent for postmortem.

The police say that Kumar was originally a resident of Andhra Pradesh. He however has been residing in Bengaluru for the past two decades. He had a finance firm and also ran an NGO the police further add.
Although it is too early to state anything, the police say that the motive behind the murder appears to be due to business rivalry. The police say that the matter is under investigation and they are yet to get the postmortem report. A look out for shooters is on.
