UP Govt Will Not Tolerate Lawlessness, Says Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has vowed to take decisive action against criminals following a shooting incident at Bollywood actress Disha Patani's home. He stressed that under BJP governance, law enforcement will be stringent. Two suspects were killed in a police encounter, and others were arrested, highlighting the Yogi Adityanath government's zero tolerance for lawlessness.

During the Namo Yuva Run in Bareilly, organised by the BJP Yuva Morcha, Pathak addressed participants as the chief guest. The five-kilometre marathon saw nearly 10,000 children participate. It began at the Sports Stadium, passed through IVRI Gate, and concluded back at the stadium.

Political Criticism and Law Enforcement

Pathak took the opportunity to criticise opposition leaders during his address. He labelled Congress MP Rahul Gandhi as a "confused leader," suggesting that Gandhi lacks clarity in his objectives and stance. This indecisiveness was described as his major weakness by Pathak.

The deputy CM also targeted Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. He claimed that whenever the SP governed Uttar Pradesh, 'jungle raj' prevailed. Pathak accused Yadav of allowing mafia and goons to operate fearlessly and questioned his failure to maintain law and order during his tenure.

Marathon Event Highlights

The marathon event awarded cash prizes to winners: ₹5100 for first place, ₹3100 for second, and ₹2100 for third. Additionally, three participants received ₹1000 each as consolation prizes. All runners were given T-shirts and certificates for their participation.

BJYM Metropolitan President Aman Saxena and regional sports officer Chanchal Mishra managed event arrangements. They ensured refreshments, water, and medical facilities were available for all participants throughout the event.

Youth Engagement Initiatives

Pathak highlighted Seva Pakhwada, observed from September 17 to October 2, which includes various public service programmes like marathons across India. He noted that Prime Minister Modi's initiatives have inspired youth involvement in politics and nation-building efforts.

The deputy CM emphasised that under BJP rule, criminals are either imprisoned or expelled from Uttar Pradesh. This statement underscores the government's commitment to maintaining law and order in the state.
