Boy born with twin heads, dies within an hour

Mathura, Aug 4: A woman gave birth to a boy with two heads in the district, but the newborn died within a few hours of delivery.

The child was born past midnight last night and had two heads and two necks even as the other body parts were normal, said doctors Niranjan Lal Sharma and Indira Sharma in whose nursing home the child was born.

The doctors said such births are rare cases. The condition of the woman is stable, they said, adding, she has four other children and is a resident of Rathore Nagar in Kosikala Kasba of the district.[WB: Baby boy born with 4 arms, 4 legs; dubbed as "Hindu God" by parents]
