Body of girl found with throat slit in UP
Saharanpur, Sept 10: The body of a 20-year-old girl was found with her throat slit near Thana Gagal Dedi here on Wednesday in what is being suspected to be a case of rape and murder.
"The girl belongs to Khan Alampu area in the city. It is suspected that she was raped before being murdered," Superintendent of Police Jagdish Sharma said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, he said, adding that two youths are being questioned in connection with the case.
