Body of man found hanging from tree near south Delhi mall
New Delhi, Sep 2: The body of an unidentified man was found hanging from a tree today in a forested area near a shopping mall in south Delhi's Vasant Kunj.
"Preliminary investigation suggests that the deceased, aged around 28 years, committed suicide. Investigation has been taken up under Section 174 CrPC," a police official said.

The matter was reported at around 8 am and a police team then rushed to the spot. No documents were found in the pockets of the deceased person, which could have helped ascertain his identity, the official said.
The police found no suicide note either. There were also apparently no visual marks on the person's body, suggesting any form of physical conflict, the official added.
"We are now looking for missing person reports in Vasant Kunj (South) and other police stations in the South Delhi district," he said.
