BJP's Manifesto For Lok Sabha Polls: Here's What BJP Promises For Health And Education Sectors
The BJP released its manifesto, 'Sankalp Patra,' for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections at its New Delhi headquarters on Sunday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in attendance.
Among its pledges, the ruling party committed to implementing the Union Civil Code (UCC) and ensuring peace in the Northeast. However, significant emphasis was placed on the education and health sectors.

Here's what the BJP has promised for these vital areas:
Expanding Medical Education Capacity: Increasing seats in undergraduate and postgraduate medical programs through new AIIMS and district-level medical colleges is a priority.
Boosting Vaccine Research and Production: Supporting Indian vaccine manufacturers and bio-pharma companies will accelerate research and production.
Strengthening Disease Eradication Programs: Accelerating efforts to eradicate diseases like TB, leprosy, measles, and others by providing timely testing and medicines remains a priority.
Launching Emergency and Trauma Care Mission: A dedicated mission will ensure immediate and effective care for all trauma patients.
Empowering Health Services Training: Strengthening existing programs to train paramedics, technicians, pharmacists, and nurses is essential for comprehensive healthcare.
Accessible Education through Technology: Expanding technology-based platforms like SWAYAM, SWAYAM PRABHA, and DIKSHA under PM e-Vidya ensures accessible education.
World-Class School Network: Strengthening Eklavya and other schools to world-class standards, and ensuring access to quality education from preschool to secondary level, aligns with our vision for education.
Strengthening the AIIMS Network: Over the past decade, 15 AIIMS has been established, making affordable, quality healthcare accessible across society. The BJP plans to extend to fortifying this network to ensure comprehensive healthcare coverage nationwide.
Enhancing PM-ABHIM: Upgrading secondary and primary health institutions under the PM-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission and will expand it further, bolstering healthcare facilities.
Augmenting Ayushman Arogya Mandirs: Enhancement of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs to offer comprehensive health services, ensuring robust healthcare provisions in district hospitals and secondary health institutions.
Scaling Jan Aushadhi Centers: Expanding Jan Aushadhi Kendras will make quality medicines available at affordable prices to all citizens.
Commitment to Education Transformation: The NEP 2020 envisions modern, universal, and quality education. We'll provide future-friendly education with modern curricula, emphasizing mother tongue instruction and comprehensive quality education.
Expanding Higher Education Institutions: Establishing new institutions and upgrading existing ones like IITs, IIITs, IIMs, AIIMS, medical colleges, and universities is a continued commitment.
NEP Implementation: BJP promises to develop an integrated education framework under the National Education Policy, to ensure young citizens have the opportunity to earn while they learn. It guarantees high-quality education, world-class sports facilities, employment and entrepreneurial opportunities to all young citizens through the NEP and other programmes.
