BJP's Fourth List For LS Polls: Radhika Sarathkumar To Contest From Virudhunagar, TN
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its fourth list of Lok Sabha candidates, a significant development in the upcoming elections in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu. This announcement follows the party's third candidate list release on Thursday.
One of the notable names in the latest list is veteran actor Radhika Sarathkumar, nominated to contest from the Virudhunagar constituency. This decision comes after Radhika's husband, Sarath Kumar, merged his Akila Indiya Samathuva Makkal Katchi (AISMK) with the BJP two weeks ago.

The BJP's candidate list, as per the high command's release, includes:
- A Namassivayam for Puducherry
- Balaganapathy for Tiruvallur (SC)
- Paul Kanagaraj for Chennai North
- Ashwathaman for Tiruvannamalai
- KP Ramalingam for Namakkal
- AP Muruganandam for Tiruppur
- Vasantharajan for Pollachi
- VV Senthilnathan for Karur
- Karthiyayini for Chidambaram (SC)
- SGM Ramesh for Nagapattinam (SC)
- Muruganandam for Thanjavur
- Devanathan Yadav for Sivaganga
- Radhika Sarathkumar for Virudhunagar
- Raama Sreenivasan for Madurai
- John Pandian for Tenkasi
Previously, the BJP had announced 267 candidates in two lists released on March 2 and 13. The initial list of 195 names included prominent figures such as PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and others.
