BJP Uttarakhand booth-level strategy set out for 2027 Assembly elections, Tarun Chugh tells workers

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh has asked party workers in Uttarakhand to prepare for the 2027 Assembly elections by strengthening booth-level organisation. Speaking at an organisational meeting attended by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, he highlighted an ongoing training campaign and progress on appointing booth level agents, including full BLA-1 coverage.

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Sunday asked party workers in Uttarakhand to start preparing for the 2027 Assembly elections. Tarun Chugh told workers to focus on booth strength. Tarun Chugh said the guiding line should be: "Win the Booth, Win the Election.\" Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and other BJP leaders also attended.

Tarun Chugh said the party’s training campaign is running in Uttarakhand, as elsewhere in India. Tarun Chugh said booth work should be the top focus during this drive. Tarun Chugh told the organisational meeting: \"In this training campaign, our utmost emphasis must be placed on strengthening our booth-level capabilities...our collective core mantra must be: Win the Booth, Win the Election,\"

Win the Booth, Win the Election plan for booth-level agents

Tarun Chugh said each worker carries responsibility for the party’s long-term presence in politics. Tarun Chugh said the organisation is building a stronger structure in parallel. Tarun Chugh said the party is also creating active booth level agents, called BLAs. Tarun Chugh said these steps are aimed at improving booth readiness.

Tarun Chugh said Uttarakhand has already appointed 100 per cent of BLA-1 agents. Tarun Chugh added that BLA-2 appointments are expected very soon. Tarun Chugh said this progress showed steady work at the booth layer. Tarun Chugh linked the effort to better election management for 2027.

Win the Booth, Win the Election meeting attendance and remarks

The organisational meeting included BJP state in-charge and national general secretary Dushyant Gautam. State president and Rajya Sabha member Mahendra Bhatt also attended. The gathering also had MPs, MLAs, former MLAs, and several state-level office bearers. The meeting focused on organisation and worker coordination.

Dushyant Gautam congratulated Pushkar Singh Dhami on completing four years as Chief Minister. Gautam said Dhami is the first CM in the state’s history to finish a four-year tenure. Praising Dhami, Gautam said the chief minister is working to ensure that the third decade of this century becomes Uttarakhands Decade.

Win the Booth, Win the Election and Dhami on opposition

Pushkar Singh Dhami said people support the BJP’s nationalist cultural ideology. Dhami said the public trusts the work of the double-engine government at the Centre and State. Dhami accused the opposition of doing politics of confusion. Dhami also asked workers to cooperate actively in all constitutional processes.
