Som Parkash, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader former Union minister, has publicly advised Kangana Ranaut, an actor turned BJP MP, to avoid making divisive statements about Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale. Bhindranwale a controversial figure linked to radical Sikh movements, was killed during Operation Bluestar in 1984.
