BJP-ruled states' chief ministers to reach Delhi on August 28 to discuss strategy

New Delhi, Aug 2: Top leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and national party president Amit Shah will meet chief ministers of the BJP-ruled states in Delhi on August 28, 2018, to discuss preparations of the Lok Sabha elections for their respective states. Party general secretary (organizations) Ram Lal will also be present in the meeting with some other senior leaders.

Sources in the BJP said that chief ministers of all the BJP-ruled states will reach Delhi with a roadmap for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The party wants every detail about the Lok Sabha constituencies of the respective states. Over one hundred RSS pracharaks are already gathering their feedback from the every nook and cranny of the country. Party and other affiliate organisations are also gathering their election-specific information so not only weakness but strong points of the constituency could be gathered.

After the meeting all the chief ministers of the BJP-ruled states will be given a roadmap for the 2019 Lok Sabha lections. Chief ministers will be asked for star campaigners from the Central BJP leadership. The BJP in power in a state like Uttar Pradesh where there are 80 Lok Sabha seats and also in states where there are just one or two LS seats.
