BJP MP Manoj Tiwari Criticises Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Says Gangs Run From Jail, Not Government

Soon after Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal was sent to 6-day custody under the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the Bharatiya Janata Party MP Manoj Tiwari slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stating good governance is done when you walk with people, only gangs run from jail. Manoj Tiwari's remark came after CM Kejriwal said he would not step down from his post.

"We have seen gangs being run from jail and not any government," the BJP MP said.

For the unversed, Manoj Tiwari is the only MP candidate that BJP has again bet on for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024. The rest of his mates in Delhi have been replaced this time as part of their strategy to combat anti-incumbency.

Hitting out at Aam Aadmi Party, Manoj Tiwari claimed that the entire Delhi is happy today and celebrating by bursting crackers and distributing sweets.

"No one is coming out to support Kejriwal. After two or three days, nobody will support AAP and Kejriwal," Tiwari said.

He also criticised senior AAP leaders and ministers Gopal Rai and Atishi saying these people are only raising voices as they aspire to take over the Chief Minister's chair.

"Gopal Rai and Atishi will give statements for only two days because they aspire to become the Chief Minister," Manoj Tiwri alleged.
