BJP Leader Sanjaya Sinh Criticises Congress' Claims of Vote Theft as a Sham
Sanjaya Sinh, BJP leader, labels Congress' allegations of vote theft as insincere, pointing out their silence on similar issues in their own states. He also critiques the Samajwadi Party's caste-based politics.
During a recent event, BJP leader Sanjaya Sinh criticised the Congress for its allegations of vote theft in BJP-governed states. He pointed out that Rahul Gandhi and his party remain silent about similar issues in Congress-led states. Sinh made these remarks at the end of the 21-km Namo Marathon, emphasising that the Election Commission is a constitutional body and should not be politicised.

Sinh also targeted the Samajwadi Party, labelling it as a caste-based organisation. He accused it of fostering division among communities, a practice he attributed to both Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav. "Akhilesh Yadav keeps talking about PDA only for vote-bank politics. What did he do for the poor, backward, Dalits and minorities when he was in power is known to all," he said.
Political Allegations and Social Issues
The acronym PDA, introduced by Akhilesh Yadav, stands for Pichde backward classes, Dalit, and Alpsankhyak minorities. Sinh questioned what tangible actions were taken for these groups during Akhilesh's tenure. He suggested that such rhetoric is primarily aimed at securing votes rather than genuine social upliftment.
Addressing recent unrest in Bareilly over the "I Love Muhammad" poster controversy, Sinh stated that there is no tolerance for rioters in India. He praised the Uttar Pradesh government's firm stance on maintaining law and order. "The double-engine government in Uttar Pradesh has made it clear that it will deal strictly with anyone spoiling the atmosphere," he noted.
Law and Order Under Scrutiny
Sinh commended Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for effectively managing law enforcement in the state. He asserted that no individual should be allowed to disrupt legal processes or public peace. "Yogi Adityanath ji has been successful in controlling it to a great extent. No one can be allowed to play with the law," he said.
In his statements, Sinh highlighted ongoing political tensions and social challenges within Uttar Pradesh and beyond. His comments reflect broader debates on governance, electoral integrity, and community relations in India.
